A longtime resident of Dallas, he was born February 12, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama and died January 27, 2014 at age 84. A graduate of Leeds High School and an alumnus of the University of Auburn, Mr. Noble, known to his friends as “Joe” or “Sonny”, moved to Dallas in 1959 where he spent over thirty years working for the IBM Corporation. Joe was an active member of the Men's Garden Club for many years and enjoyed photography, big-band music and travelling with his family. Extremely proud of his family, Joe is survived by his wife, Carolyn Turner Noble, six of his seven children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Joe was preceded in death by his beloved father and mother, Joseph E. Noble II and Una Alice Noble, as well as his eldest son, Richard Allen Noble.
