Joseph “Joe” Edward Fletcher was born on September 27, 1945 in Paris Texas. He passed away on March 28, 2018 in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diana Fletcher, his daughters Dana Hamilton and Lisa Touma, and Grandchildren Taylor Touma, Hannah Hamilton, and Preston Hamilton.
Throughout his life, Joe Fletcher was involved some of our nation’s most proud organizations. He joined the United States Air Force in January of 1964, and served as an MP in the Air force K9 Unit. While he was in the Air Force, Joe completed many rigorous training courses, such as the Air Policeman Course in 1964, the Military Justice ECI in 1965, and the Law Enforcement and Corrections ECI in 1965. He was honorably discharged in 1968. Later in life, Joe was a part of the Masons, and the Hella Shrine Organization. Joseph Fletcher lived a full and honorable 73 years, and will be greatly missed by those who got the chance to know him.
