Jose Galaviz Sarmiento age 77, he was born on March 28, 1939 and went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Adelaida Melendez de Sarmiento and their 10 children Eugenio Sarmiento (Argelia), Maria R. Jimenez, Audelia Bautista (Albert), Martina Flores (Joel), Jose Sarmiento (Perlita), Manuel Angel Sarmiento (Patricia), Maria S. Fuentes (Refugio), Ismelda Sarmiento-Arvizu (Jose), Juana Sarmiento (Victor), Adelina Sarmiento, 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 4 brothers. He was the son of Francisco Sarmiento and Maria de Refugio Galaviz. He was born and raised in Panuco de Coronado, Durango. He was a great husband and a loving and caring father. He was a lifelong member at St. James Catholic Church. He was a hard worker and provider for his family.
