It was so wonderful to have the opportunity to work with Jose at HLR. I work remote but in our morning meetings we could always count on Jose for laughter and a quick wit. I am so happy that I got to spend time with him in his life.

Dear Blanca, Cindy and Family,
Just finished watching the slideshow of pictures , it made me cry and at the same time it has made me smile. You have a beautiful family and oh what wonderful memories you have made with dear Jose.  I want to thank you for sharing him with us here at HLR. This is one of the hardest days we are having to go through and that is the realization we have to say good-bye to someone so dear to our hearts..

Still in disbelief that my brother is no longer with us. We are going to miss his voice, his presence, our phone conversations, our jokes, our dinners in Dallas, most of all we are going to miss him! Our heartfelt prayers are  with Blanca, Luisito, Josie, Cindy and the rest of the family. Love you all. Love you brother.  May you Rest in Peace.

Jose & I had grown really close in dealing with a particular project currently under construction & I was extremely thankfully and blessed to work along side of him. I had only spent maybe 2 years learning from him but I felt like I've known him for a much longer time, because his spirit was so genuine and uplifting. 
He & our team had a ton of laughs in the midst of our challenges with this project but all-in-all, we grew to all be great friends and I'll keep his family in my prayers always. Especially his wonderful little granddaughter, who would sing & play in the background of our zoom meetings, lol. Thanks a tons Buddy. - 1 Peter 5:10

My sincerest condolences to Blanca and Cindy. Mr. Santillan was a vey nice man and it was a pleasure to serve him over the years.

I’m truly heartbroken and in disbelief that our dear brother, Luis, is no longer with us. He gave me the best childhood I could ever ask for and so many beautiful memories throughout my life.
