Jose Dolores Ruiz

He married Tomasa Ruiz in 1968 and the couple had five children. He was a steel worker at GH Hensley Industries, where he worked for more than 23 years.

In his spare time, Jose enjoyed watching soccer, working on his yard and spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

His family and friends will always remember him as a family man, hard worker and for always wearing a hat. He was a kind and soft spoken person.

Some of his greatest accomplishments were moving to The United States in 1978, becoming a US citizen and purchasing a house in America. On top of that he also owned a house in his hometown. But above all his proudest accomplishment was being married to the love of his life, Tomasa, for 56 years.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Maria Ruiz; his father, Narciso Ruiz; his five brothers, Natevidad Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Antonio Ruiz, Agustin Ruiz and Felipe Ruiz.
