Jose Leopoldo Rangel was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was called “home” on September 15th, 2022, at the age of 85 in Dallas, Tx. He was born in Sherman, Tx. on March 8th, 1937. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years Alice Escamilla Rangel and brothers and sister Ignacio Sandoval, Vincent Sandoval, Josephine Moreno, Carlos Rangel, Miguel Rangel and Daniel Rangel. Jose is survived by his loving wife Elisa Camacho Rangel of 10 years. Also, survived by his sons and their wives Michael and Becky Rangel, Andrew and Linda Rangel and Jose and Marisol Rangel. His grandchildren Anthony, Christopher, Emil, Gabriel, Sofia, Mia, Grace, and Vanessa. Also survived by sisters Dolores Ramirez, Sylvia Fitzpatrick, and Mary Tolbert.
He was known by many names: Little Sherman, Joe, Joe Cool, Paul, Pablo, Uncle Paul, U.P., Dad, grandpa, and G. Jose worked at Sears and Roebuck for over 30 years at many capacities but mostly as a computer operator. He was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church for 50 years, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
