I don’t know how to start and my words will not truly represent the love and respect I have for this friend.  Jose had a heart that was as big or bigger than anyone I have ever known.  He truly cared about everyone he met.  If he noticed that someone looked sad and down, he would go up to them and give them words of encouragement to lift their spirits.  He and I joked alot.  We were great buddies and would meet at eating places very often after a night of working.  We both enjoyed that.  He was consistently talking about the well-being of his family.  And, anyone could tell he was a loving and devoted son, husband, father and grandfather.  He would always ask how your family was doing, also.  He didn’t get to enjoy his retirement much, but I’m sure he is in heaven enjoying his loved ones that went before him.  I will miss him and look forward to seeing him in heaven one day.  My very deepest condolences to his family and their loss!

Jose always had a kind word and always asked how I was doing. Always asked about how my family was and always in a good mood. He is one of the first people my wife and I met when we moved here and started working at TI. I didn't get to see him much the past few years since he was working nights but whenever our paths crossed it was nice to catch up. Jose was a good friend and loved his family, it showed. He will be missed.

I never saw Jose without a smile on his face or a kind word on his lips. But what I will always remember about him is the love that he had for his wife and children. It showed in everything he did, right down to setting the voicemail message on Tina’s phone. He was a very fine example of what a husband and father should be. He was a fine example of a Godly man. He will be missed!

I have know Jose for many years since we have worked together. I always made time to go by and talk with him and see how he was doing. We talked about many different things which he expressed his strong faith. He was devoted Cowboy fan which I didn’t hold it against him.  He would share things to me about what was going with him. I can remember when he told me that he and his wife to a trip to New Orleans which he really enjoyed.  I really wish he had more time after he retired but that wasn’t in God’s plan. I will always cherish the times that we laughed and talked with each other.

He is my Tio Jose! I have many memories of visiting his house and seeing his kind and warm face welcoming us in. He was always so loving and I am so sad that I didn’t have more time with him as an adult. I will miss him very much! Rest In Peace. ❤️

Jose started out as a coworker who I proudly can say became my friend. He sure made a 12 hour night shift so much easier to handle. He was one of the most kindest and caring individuals I have ever known. It was quite evident how much he loved his family. To Tina , Austin , and Monica my deepest sympathies and prayers for your loss. Jose , Rest in Peace until we meet again.

Jose was a kind man. I worked at TI with him for well over a decade and he always took time to say hello and talk. He was a hard worker and I will miss him. My condolences go out to his whole family. Jose had a positive effect on this world. I’m glad I got to know him.

I remember when I come to visit, I would see Mr.Gonzalez sitting on his chair and say, “ Hi Edward! How are you?” and he was the funniest person in the house, knowing how to crack up good jokes. If I looked at his chair now, I would think of the interaction I had with him, but I also would think of someone who left a legacy for the Gonzalez family. Rest in Peace, Mr.Gonzalez.

He was a good man who cared very much for his family. He will be missed, but is a better place now, along with his parents.

I remember Jose being a kind man who loved his family.  He took care of his family. They took many wonderful vacations through the years! My deepest condolences to Tina, Austin and Monica. He will be missed.  Love to y’all.

Mr. Gonzalez was like my second dad. Ever since I became best friends with his daughter Monica in intermediate school, he always treated me like family. Anytime I would visit, he’d go out of his way to make me feel welcome and cared for, he’d always ask about my family too. I’m going to miss him welcoming me with open arms and a hug every time I visit. I’m going to miss his big heart and friendly smile. It’s so unreal to think he’s really gone. I love you Mr. Gonzalez, Rest In Peace. 

Jose was always a very positive hard working individual.  He took pride in his work and work took a distant 2nd to his family in a good way. He was a descent warm compassionate individual that regardless of what personal struggles he may be dealing with he would always try to be there to help another individual struggling. His family was everything to him. He would always tell of the accomplishments of his kids and be so proud. A good son,  loving husband and, proud father. The best things you can say about a good man
