Johnnie Taylor Jr. was born May 30, 1926 in Roxton, Texas to the late Johnnie Taylor Sr. and Armealur Taylor.
Johnnie Jr. was preceded in death by his wife Earnestine Taylor, his father Johnnie Taylor Sr., Mother Armealur Taylor, siblings Zelma Eloyce Marshall and Vernon Taylor.
He is survived by, one daughter Evangelist Johnnie Mae Williams; one son Samuel Lee Taylor; granddaughters Zina Taylor Richardson, Rity Taylor Clay (Sherman), Nina Taylor, Sharmetrice "MeMe" Boutte (Damian), Dr Shatina Williams; grandsons John Williams and Joshua Williams; four great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; one brother Charles Taylor; two sisters Ruby Thompson and Esther Green, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; special sister in laws Ella V. Daniels, Theresa Wrighting, Maxine Taylor and Louise Taylor.
