Keith and Kirk,
Your mom and dad were always known to me as Nadine  and Al.  Their love of life showed in how they extended themselves  and their hearts  to an ever-increasing circle of family friends. 
As you adjust to a new normal of life without your dad, I pray that the memories and love you have will soothe the pain of your heart.  
May you feel and know the depth of love and support of so many who were influenced by Al Willis.  
May God’s peace, love, and strength be a source of comfort to you.



Mr. John Willis was always a joy to have as part of our Friendship Club at CCYoung. He was intelligent and kind, and such a classy, cool guy!  Mr. Willis joined us every day, and referred to the day center as ”going to work”.  He was industrious, thoughtful, and always diplomatic. He was modest, sharing his  vast wisdom and words, but only when asked. He loved  the blues, and B.B. King, but mostly he loved his family and they sure loved him!!
Rest in Peace Mr. John; the world is a better place because of you!

Mr. Willis always treated me with kindness and respect. He and Mrs. Willis provided my mother with transportation on several occasions. I remember your father as a very respected Christian man who demonstrated stewardship  in the church. I’m sorry for the grief you may experience after the loss of Mr.Willis.

My prayers are with the Willis Family. I wish I had the chance to meet my Fraternity Brother, Kappa Alpha Psi,  from AM&N/UAPB. I just received the message of his passing today(3/17/2021) and knowing I only live 15-20 minutes away from him.  To my Great Brother, you will be miss, until we meet, My prayers are with you and to the family, if you need anything, Please let me know. I may have a photo of him from 1951-52 in our Gamma Sigma photo history book.  God Bless my Brother and to your family.

From a little girl, walking down Highland Woods Drive on my way to church with my Big Sister and two Brothers we would pass the Willis House to see the family leaving for church. All dressed up, smiling and waving. Those days were framed and etched into a wonderful, peaceful  memory. Family take consolation in your memories and thank GOD for the time you were blessed to have with your loved one. You have that now. Praying for comfort and GOD'S  peace, HE gave you love.⚘💕⚘
