Sonny attended Webster High School and graduated with the class of 1963.
He married Juanita Mitchell Jackson on April 9, 1976 in Minden, Louisiana.
Sonny favorite hobbies were working on trucks and cars.
John was preceded in death by his parents; Lucille Frazier and Melvin Thomas, brothers; Milton Charles Thomas, Larry Wayne Thomas and Greg Thomas.
Left to cherish the loving memories of John are his wife of 44 years Juanita Mitchell Jackson, siblings; Sandra Jean Washington (Tommy), Melvyn Ann Jones, Gwendolyn Swan, Joe Darrell Frazier, Darcy Frazier, Chelsea Thomas, Myra Thomas, Donna Thomas, Brad Thomas and Martha Thomas, uncle; Roy Frazier (Lee) special niece Lynn Washington-Parker and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
