Joanne Gibbs

Joanna graduated from North Dallas High and married Gordon Eugene Gibbs on September29,1947. To this union, they had 2 boys and 2 girls.

Joanne accepted Christ in her life at an early age and lived her life serving the Lord. She attended Cottonwood Creek Church in Allen, TX, until she moved to Kilgore, TX, with her daughter and son-in-law in 2022.

Joanne loved to travel and spend time with her family & friends, and loved to go bargain shopping on the weekends. She hosted many family functions in her home and cherished family gatherings. She became a caregiver to her mother, and later to her husband until his death on January 21, 2014.

Joanne is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, James and William Leach, husband, Gordan Eugene Gibbs of 74, one son, Gary Gibbs, and one great-granddaughter, Skylar Gabler.

Joanne is survived by daughters Lisa (Clem) Deleon of Allen, TX, Linda (Darrell) Brown of Kilgore, TX and son Michael (Gloria) of Royse City, TX. and grandchildren, Michael Gibbs Jr., Tracy Gabler, Bryan Brown (Nona), Christopher Deleon (April), Gabriel DeLeon (Mychal), and many great-great grandchildren.
