Jim Reed

He was born in Winkler, TX on January 4, 1931.

Jim graduated from Corsicana High School and received a degree in accounting from the University of North Texas.

He was married to Judy on March 25, 1978.

Jim was a Certified Public Accountant for Dykes, Reed, Boggs and Flynn P.C. for 55 years.

He was a member of Lake Highlands Exchange Club for many years, had a passion for bull riding and the Texas Rangers, and also was an avid golfer at the Dallas Athletic Club for 55 years.

Jim is survived by his children, Jason N. Reed and Nicole Tuminello Walzel; grandchildren, Jake Walzel and Jett Walzel; sister-in-law, Pat Williams and brother-in-law, Michael Clark.

A celebration of life for Jim will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX, followed by a reception from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
