Jessie Gomez

Jessie Julian Gomez entered eternal rest on November 1, 2022 in Dallas, TX. He was born on October 18, 1934 in Dallas, TX to Jesus and Lucy Gomez. Jessie loved life. He enjoyed listening to old Norteño music and his favorite musicians were Jose Alfredo Jimenez and Vicente Fernandez. Fishing was his favorite hobby as well as building birdhouses. You always knew what belonged to him…….his license number was on it! He loved clocks, hats, caps and smoking. He was a great soul and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Those to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mary; sons, Joe (Bertha) Gomez, Johnny (Rosie) Gomez, Jesse Daniel (Blanca) Gomez and Phillip Gomez; daughters, Lucy (Luis) Flores and Dolores Solano; brothers, John Gomez, Paul (Rachel) Gomez and Jimmy Gomez; sister, Dolores Lopez; grandchildren, Luis G. Flores Jr., Jesus A Flores, Samantha G Gomez, Julian J Gomez, Margie Flores and Cecilia Gomez. A Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home – Dallas, TX on Sunday November 6, 2022 from 4 – 8 pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 6 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Calvary Hill on Monday November 7, 2022 at 12 pm. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
