Jesse Vela Jr

Jesse was raised in Dallas, Tx. and received his GED in 1990's. He married Betty M. Vela in 1954 and the couple had Four Children. He was a Warehouse Manager at Texas Instrument/Photronics, where he worked for many years.

In His spare time Jesse enjoyed Family, Friends and his Children and Grandchildren.

His Family and Friends will always remember him as Someone who had the ability to make other smile and his sense of humor will be missed.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Jesse Vela Sr. and Jesusita A. Vela, Great Grandfather, Vincente P. Anguiano, beloved Son Vincent E. Vela.

Survived by: Loving and Devoted Wife of 67 years Betty M. Vela, Daughter Margaret Vela, Sons Mario Vela and Thomas Vela, Twenty Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren, Five Great Great Grandchildren, several loving Nieces and Nephews, Family and Friends.

A visitation for Jesse will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A rosary will occur Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, August 25, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St Phillip Catholic Church, 8131 Military Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75227. An interment will occur Friday, August 25, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
