Jesse Daniel Saucedo, Sr., 69, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2014. Jesse was born on September 16, 1944 in El Campo, Texas to Santiago and Catherina Saucedo. Jesse was a kind and simple man who loved his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Catalina Saucedo; brothers, Pete Saucedo, Ignacio Saucedo, Joe Saucedo, and Johnny Saucedo; sisters, Alejandra Saucedo and Aurora Saucedo. He is survived by his wife, Martha Saucedo; children, Jessie Daniel Saucedo, Jr., Rosalinda Saucedo and Martin Antonio Barrios. He is also survived by his brothers, Santiago Saucedo Jr., LeeRoy Saucedo, Raul Saucedo; sisters, Maria Ortiz and Beatrice Cano; as well as 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be held at Gonzalez Funeral Home on Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 10:00AM to 6:00PM with a reciting of the Rosary at 4:00PM with the assistance of Deacon Pete Rodriguez. Visitation will continue on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 10:00AM-2:00PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 10:00AM with interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
