Jesse Hernandez, age 70, passed away on November 16, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 28, 1949 in Corsicana, Texas to Pedro and Guadalupe Hernandez. Jesse graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1967 and earned an Associates in Applied Arts and Science Degree from El Centro College on May 20, 1982. Mr. Hernandez served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from July 17, 1968 to July 14, 1972.
In his spare time, Jesse enjoyed spending time with his family and friends along with dancing, watching movies, eating in restaurants, bowling, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and most of all, his trips to the casino.
His family and friends will always remember him as a man that could be counted on in good and difficult times. He was a genuine, kind soul, affectionate to all who knew him, but most of all, will be remembered for his sense of humor and infectious laugh.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Hernandez; mother, Guadalupe Hernandez; and brother, Pedro Hernandez, Jr.
He is survived by his brothers, Gilbert Hernandez, Aurelio Hernandez; sisters, Nellie Tafalla Escamilla, Frances Aleman, Connie Mungia, Lupe Lomas, Anita Moen; his beloved niece who was like a daughter, Marisela Alvarez; along with many other family and friends that will always cherish his memory.
