He was born in Ennis, TX on Feb 18th, 1935. He was one of ten children born to loving parents, Gregorio & Andrea Gonzales.
Jesse graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1952. He followed his dream of furthering his education later in life at both Eastfield & El Centro Colleges. He was a skilled draftsman in his professional career at Peerless, Wyatt Industries & Glitsch Inc.
He was an active member of his Catholic Community. He served as an usher for many years at St. Monica Catholic Church and most recently sought solace at St. Edwards Catholic Church where his beloved brother Juan served as a deacon.
Jesse was a brilliant, loving, faithful, philosophical man whose greatest joy was his children, grandchildren & loving extended family. He enjoyed playing golf, the Dallas Cowboys, listening to music, reading the bible, attending mass & epic story telling. He will be best remembered for his intellectual conversations, blunt nature, wit & quirky commentary.
Jesse was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle & friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Vanessa & his son Jason; parents Andrea & Gregorio; sisters Mary & Lupe; and brother Juan. He is survived by his children Jesse (Connie) Gonzales, Mark (Monica) Gonzales, Jonathan (Myra) Gonzales and Veronica (Ryan) Burrous; grandchildren Clarissa, Jonathan Jr. & Lucas; brothers Joe (Nora) Gonzales, Gregory (Elvia) Gonzalez and Gilbert (Virginia) Gonzalez; sisters Connie Moreno, Gracie (David) Robles & Gilda Martinez; loving nieces & nephews; grand nieces & grand nephews & many friends.
