Jerry Lee Rosson, age 83, of Dallas, TX passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. He was born to John R. and Elsie Reece Rosson on April 18, 1939 in Port Lavaca, TX. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Roy G. Rosson. He leaves behind a brother, G. Richard Rosson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jerry Grew up in Athens, TX and attended Athens Schools and (now) Trinity Valley College where he participated in the football and basketball programs. He later served in the Air Force, and then attended North Texas State University where he graduated with a BBA degree. Jerry was a Certified Public Accountant and practiced in Dallas, TX.
A visitation will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at 9am at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, followed by a chapel service at 10am. Interment will be at 2:30pm at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens, TX.
