His parents preceded him in death along with sister Shirley. He is survived by his wife, Jane, of 57 years along with children, Todd (John), Gina, and Lynette (Andrew), along with grandchildren, Brandon, Madeline, Ethan, Evan and Eli. Jerry was known as a devoted husband and true family man, who spent every weekend attending Mass and having brunch with his children and grandchildren. He was known by his five grandchildren as their "Papa" and they will miss him dearly. His many friends who joined him for dinners knew that a night of conversation at a favorite restaurant was his passion.
Jerry had a long and successful career in technology, with many accomplishments and international achievements. He rose to the positions of Chairman and CEO of Precision Response Corporation, President of MasterCard Worldwide Global Technology and Operations. He made many important advancements and innovations in his many roles. He also served as President of Payment Systems where he worked for Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank in London, England, President of First Republic Bank Services Corporation and held executive technology and operations roles with Cleveland Trust, BankOne and Westinghouse Electric.
He served on numerous corporate boards of directors including Enterprise Bank and Trust, Electronic Clearing House, Spear Tip Cyber Intelligence Companycand AmplifiAi. He was a member of the North Texas Crime Commission and the Cyber Counter Intelligence Committee and was on the Board of Advisors for the Olin Scholl of Business, Washington University in St. Louis. He has also served on numerous Charitable and non-profit boards.
Rosary and visitation will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest on Sunday, November 13th, from 2 till 5pm. Mass and celebration of his life will be held at All Saints Catholic Church on Monday, November 14th, at 10:30am with a reception following at the church.
