Jeannette L. Dickerson

Jeanette Coughlin Dickerson passed away from this life to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Frisco, TX. Born on March 18, 1949 in Oklahoma City, OK., she was preceded in death by her parents Leonard L. and Stephanie Quinette Coughlin and survived by sisters Betsy Coughlin Liberto (Vincent), Michele Coughlin Olson (Mike), Nina Coughlin Wingfield (Bunky), Angeline Coughlin McGuire, brothers Patrick L. Coughlin (Linda), Timothy T. Coughlin (Gwyn), and Daniel L. Coughlin (Kim), daughter Erin Beth Metcalfe, grandchildren Samuel Blade Blevins, Nathaniel Bryce Blevins, and Laura Beth Jennings. She is a graduate of Yukon High School in Yukon, OK and received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Education degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. She taught English in middle school, high school and college classrooms and more recently was a writing consultant/tutor at Collin College in Plano, TX. Memorial service and mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1201 Alma Dr. Plano, TX 75075. Inurnment will be at the church’s Columbarium followed by a reception for friends and family at St. Mark’s Parish Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, 1105 West 15th St. Plano, TX 75075 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758512, Topeka, KS 66675-8512.
