Jean O’Rourke Stuart, 91 of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Jean was born in Dallas, Texas September 20. 1930. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Texas. She was married to John H. Stuart on April 19, 1952.
She was the Cofounder and owner of The Scent Shop, Inc. along with her husband John. The business is still maintained by their sons.Jean had a passion to read and maintain a beautiful garden.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Francis O’Rourke and Marie O’Rourke (Keefe), husband John H. Stuart, and son Kirk Stuart.
She is survived by son Mike Stuart of Dallas, TX. Daughter-in-law Priscilla Stuart of Georgetown, TX; grandchildren Sarah Stuart of Austin, TX and Nathan Stuart of Boulder, CO. Son Mark Stuart and his wife Susan of Dallas, TX. and their sons Lieutenant Zachary Stuart and Private First-Class Andrew Stuart of Fort Bragg, NC. Daughters Aidan Stuart and Alexandra Walker and her husband Ian, and great grandson Maximilian of Dallas, TX. Son John Stuart and his wife Amy of Dallas, TX. Jean is also survived by her sister, Eileen Halverson of Dallas, TX.
