Jean Ellis Green

Jean Ellis Green was born in Greenville, Texas. In 1946, she and her husband, C.I. Green, moved to Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Green was active in several clubs and organizations, Methodist Womens, Lubbock Women's Club, Grandmothers Club, a volunteer at University Medical Center and was a founding member of Frest Heights Methodist Church. She is survived by daughter Nancy Renfroe, of Dallas; grandson Joe Renfroe and wife Danna, of Frisco; granddaughter Jan Walker and husband Bruce, of Austin and grandson-in-law Gerard Ruggiere and wife Jackie, of Plano. Mrs. Green is also survived by great grandchildren; Michael and Anthony Ruggiere; Jenna Renfroe; David Walker and Nicholas Stoops. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by husband C.I. Green and granddaughter Jill Ruggiere. The family would like to thank the staff of Prestonwood Court and Rosemary and Trey with Vitas Hospice Care for their wonderful love and support. Services for Mrs. Green will be Saturday at 10:30am at First United Methodist Church, Richardson. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Vitas Hospice Care of a charity of your choice.
