Jason Eli Ausbrooks passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age of 47 in Mesquite, Texas. He was born on January 16, 1973 in Garland, Texas to Jerry Wayne Ausbrooks and Carolyn Jean Yarbrough. Jason was raised in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Samuell High School in 1991. He married the love of his life, Wendy Starr Watson on November 23, 2013 and the couple had two children, Triston Anderson Greene and Trinity Alexandria Greene. Faith was important to Jason, and he was proud to be baptized on January 19, 2020 at Lakepoint – Town East. He had a strong work ethic, working as a landscaper and in pest control for Mesquite ISD for more than 10 years where he was awarded Employee of the Month in January 2020. Jason was happiest when watching his Texas Longhorns football and basketball, playing video games online, especially Red Dead Redemption and GTA 5, watching the Lady Tiger basketball team, cooking for loved ones, and enjoying nature with his dog, Kang. Jason’s adventurous heart lead him to earn “Winner Hands Down” at darts Men’s Game in Christmas 2010 and Horseshoe Runner-Up (Lucky dog William) at the Watson Reunion in 2018. Most of all, he will always be remembered by his family and friends as a true burnt orange Texas Longhorn fan!!!
