Janet Webb was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin, died February 9, 2011 at Caruth Haven Court in Dallas, Texas. Born on October 27, 1918 to Charlotte and George Jalonick II, Janet studied Spanish at the University of Texas at Austin.
Janet is preceded in death by her daughter Judy Alline Webb and nephew George Jalonick IV. She is survived by her grand-daughter Leslie Ann Kadane and husband Kyle Doane. She is survived by her nieces Sally Anne Hudnall and her husband Jim Snodgrass; niece Aurelia Rice, and Mary Jalonick, and numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Janet had a strong faith, loyal friends and family, and was keenly interested in the world around her. Travelling was one of her first loves and she was fortunate to witness significant world events during her lifetime. Janet loved experiencing the food, art, and history of other cultures which were the highlights of her travels. Janet also had a love of birds, oil painting, and was fluent in French. In addition, she was an active member of Church of the Incarnation in Dallas, and the Dallas Womens Club.
Janet will be remembered by her friends and family for her kindness, positivity, love of travel, and independence. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care given to Janet by the entire staff of Caruth Haven Court in Dallas. Memorial services will be held at Church of the Incarnation in Dallas on Tuesday, February 15th at 11am, in the chapel.
