Jane Henderson Boyd, born November 20, 1946, to Gene and Lora Henderson in Dallas, Texas, died on March 2, 2021.
Janie was a graduate of Highland Park High School and the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of Chi Omega and an avid O.U. football fan. She was employed over the years by the Dallas Public Library and as a paralegal at Freytag Marshall, Locke Liddell, and Winstead law firms.
She is survived by a brother, J. Michael Henderson (Linda), nephews Robert B. Henderson (Heidi) and John M. Henderson (Melissa), sister in law Beth B. Henderson, and lifelong friend Katherine Harris. Janie was a lifelong learner with a special interest in history and literature. She had a quick laugh and a sharp wit.
Memorials may be made to Operation Kindness in Carrollton, Texas. Graveside services will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest, 7405 West NW Highway, on Saturday, March 27, at 2:00 PM.
