James A. Thompson (Tony) ,57, of Oak Leaf, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on October 18th 2021. He passed away due to the awful covid-19 disease. James graduated with honors from National Institute of Technology and went to become a IT manager. In his spare time, he loved to fish, work on old bikes to old radios, spending time with his family and friends, and collecting antiques. He was loving and generous to everyone he met. Anyone who ever had an acquaintance with him within a few hours made you feel like he was your best bud. He was an amazing husband, a father, an uncle, a cousin, and even a best friend.
He is survived by his wife Heidi, daughter Ashley, two sons Landon and Devon, mother Anita, sister Tammy, Brother-in-law Chance, and many uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by many. We will miss the wise wisdom, the helping hand when times were tough, the guy with the cigar in hand that made any event a good time, and his silly charismatic soul.
“So, we do not lose heart. Even through our outer nature is wasting away. Our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure,
Because we look not at what can be seen but what cannot be seen: for what is seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
