Clif Stone, a “True Southern Gentleman” of Dallas, Texas, passed away October 7, 2018. He was born June 26, 1931, in Birmingham, Alabama, and was a member of the Phi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He proudly served his country as 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and served in the Signal Corp and as Platoon Commander. He was a member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church for over 30 years.
After a very successful career with Kaiser Aluminum as Southwest Regional Manager, he retired with 30 years of service. Soon after, he became a tops sales agent for Southwire.
His hobby was flying airplanes for business and pleasure, but his true loves were land development, real estate, working his farm in Aubrey and the stock market. Clif enjoyed entertaining, reading, traveling and hunting. He was known for his loyalty, integrity, generosity and kindness towards everyone with whom he came in contact.
Clif was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Bessie Stone. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Stone, the love of his life of 37 years; son Jeff Stone; son Scott Stone, wife Angela and daughters Leah and Sienna; daughter Suzanne Stone Shaw, husband Jonathan Shaw and children Madison and Trevor.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 10th, at 3:00 PM at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to UT Southwestern Medical Center, Development Office, P.O. Box 910888, Dallas, Texas, 75391.
