James Aurtha was called home on March 26, 2010. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a long time member of Lake Highlands Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by his loving wife Jeanne. He is survived by his children Diane, Brad, and Denise. “Sport” was the proud grandfather of grandchildren, Mandy, Travis, Megan, Chad, Amie, Grace, Justin, Adam, Bryan, Melanie, Sean, Jacob and Bethany. James was an avid sportsman and sports fan. He loved his grandchildren, traveling, piddling outside and was a man of great integrity. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at 10:00 prior to service at the church, on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Lake Highlands Baptist Church, 624 Brookhurst, Dallas, TX, with Brother Mark Farish officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
