James Faulkner was born in Dallas, TX on 15 January 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Ruth Faulkner and his wife Sarah Faulkner. He is survived by his children David Faulkner, Jennifer Faulkner and Jason Faulkner, grandson Chris Faulkner, daughter in law Sheila Faulkner and David’s partner Mike McKinney. James lived from age 24 to age 81 as a type 1 diabetic. I think that alone makes him a hero. But stopping there would fail to mention his gentle spirit that we all learned from, his love of photography and model railroading and the many memories that we will cherish. James was a lifelong Baptist growing up at Cliff Temple Baptist in Oak Cliff and spending most of his adult years at Calvary Baptist and First Baptist in Garland. He was a resident of Garland,TX since 1964 and worked in Richardson, TX for 30 years. After several months of failing health he passed from this world on Friday 10 December 2021. Donations can be made to American Diabetes Association.
