James Robert Apple was born on September 30, 1986 in Breckenridge, Texas and on October 1, 2010, he went to be with his Savior. He is survived by his parents: John and Ashley Apple and ML and Kay Nelson; and siblings: Greg and Christy Williams, Lisa Apple, and Johnny and Katie Apple and Josh Apple; and grandparents, Marjorie and Doyle Whitaker. James was a 2005 graduate of Willow Bend Academy in Plano. He was a born musician and self-taught guitar and piano player. He played guitar as a child, but then taught himself piano in his teen years. He played piano by ear and got picked up by the owner of a well-known piano bar in Fort Worth by playing piano on a street corner in downtown Fort Worth one evening. James was charismatic and free-spirited and had a laugh that filled a room and was so contagious. Making people laugh and playing music brought James the greatest pleasure. Visitation 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Monday at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at Fellowship Bible Church Dallas (9330 N Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75231) on Tuesday, October 5 at 10 a.m. The grave site services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Throckmorton, TX.
