Jackie Lou Thompson, age 83, of Seven Points Texas passed away May 23, 2017 after complications from a recent illness. She was born to Walter Alfred Scott and Dorothy Justin Carter in Dallas, Texas January 22, 1934. She grew up in Oak Cliff graduating from Adamson High School. She married Carl Zora Rhyner and had a son Carl Morris Rhyner in 1953. Her marriage to Carl Z. Rhyner ended, and in August 1963 she married James Edward Thompson. She worked for an accounting company in downtown Dallas for many years. She is survived by her step-son Stanley Thompson, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Jackie’s beloved husband James Thompson, father Walter, mother Dorothy, step-father William Bates, brother Billy, son Carl, and great-great granddaughter Zoe Von Rhyner all precede her in passing.
