Jack attended Bumpham High School and during his tenure in school he was a promising artist. Many of Jack's drawings can be found displayed in several churches throughout the community in his home town. Later, Jack went on to join the Marines. After Jack completed his tour of duty in the Marines, he moved to Dallas, Texas, to look for work. Jack worked for and retired from the Sears and Roebuck Company. After his retirement from Sears and Roebuck Company, Jack worked for Mary Kay Cosmetics for a number of years.
During the late fifties, Jack met Carlene Morgan and fathered a daughter, Darlene L. Morgan. Later, Jack met and married Christine Terrell and, to this union, one son was born, Jack Neal Jr. (Wooster).
Jack attended Bumpham Springs Baptist Church as a young man and, although he didn't attend church much, the spirit of the Lord never left his heart. Jack often gave his financial support to the church to help meet the needs of God's people. Jack's kindness, wit and generosity to his family and friends will be greatly missed.
Jack departed this life at home on October 17, 2018, while being surrounded by his loved ones.
