Jack Byron Fletcher, born 03/04/1926 in Garland, Texas, passed away on 01/01/2018. In 1943, he graduated from Adamson HS. He served in the United States Navy, 1943-46 during WWII. Jack worked as letter carrier for the USPS, 1947-1981. Jack married Effie Carrell in 1950, & they celebrated their 67th anniversary in August 2017. Jack enjoyed telling stories, airplanes, westerns, country music and baseball. He was preceded in death by parents, John & Lola; daughter, Susan; & sisters, Johnnye, Zelda, Jimmie, Mildred & Rita. He is survived by wife, Effie; children, Michael (Gina), Jack Jr. (Tere), Lisa (Charles) & 13 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends that will greatly missed.
