Isabel Avila Aguirre

Isabel was raised in Madrid, Spain. She married Robert Aguirre in 1965 and the couple had one child. She was a wife and mother.

In her spare time Isabel enjoyed walking at the mall, eating ice cream, and serving our Heavenly Father at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church as a Eucharistic Minister.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Antonia and Antonio Avila; sister, Aurelia Munoz; and brother, Pedro Avila.

She was survived by her husband, Robert Aguirre; daughter, Rachel Carranza and her husband, Juan Carranza; granddaughters, Sami and Zoe Carranza; sisters, Joaqui Munoz, Manoli Avila and Lupe Avila along with many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Isabel will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A rosary will occur Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5605 Bernal Dr, Dallas, TX 75212. A visitation will occur Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5605 Bernal Dr, Dallas, TX 75212. A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5605 Bernal Dr, Dallas, TX 75212. An interment will occur Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at DFW National Cemetery, 200 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
