Irene McGehee, age 90, of Mesquite, TX passed away March 6, 2019. She was born in Smetana, TX on June 3, 1928. Irene graduated from Crozier Tech HS in January 1944. She married Max McGehee in June of 1956.
Irene was a loving and caring person to all. She loved to knit, play cards and chat. She was a founding member of St. Philip Catholic Church where she was a member of the Women’s Guild and the St. Theresa Circle. Irene was also a member of the Dallas MQN Club.
She is survived by son, Michael and wife Mary Beth; daughter, Laurie Glenn and husband Jim; grandchildren, Paul McGehee and wife Nicole, Ryan McGehee, Erin Glenn and Emily Glenn; and great-grandchild, Charlotte Jane McGehee.
A visitation will be held at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 5-8pm, with a rosary at 7pm. The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 12pm in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Cemetery. Entombment will follow.
