On March 28, 1946 in Cloete, Coahuila, Mexico, Ignacio Hernández was born to its parents San Juana Ibarra (ţ) and Julio Hernández (ţ). Being the second one of family 5 (José, Victoria Carillo, "Chino" Ignacio, Guadalupe Díaz (ţ)
On March 7th he married Evangelina Zapata in Cloete, Coahuila. Their union resulted in 7 children, San Juana, Raymundo, Obdulia (ţ), Ignacio, Osvaldo, Lorraine and Irazema. They were graced with a wealth of 30 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
He emigrate to Dallas, Texas in 1970. He was a happy, strong and bold man who loved life. A man who was always thinking of his family rather than himself. He gave of himself without expecting anything in return. He wished for his family to be happy and united. He stated that his family was his life and although his life was not always easy he always gave his support and love.
My father spent his time between Dallas and Mexico. Even though he grumbled a lot he loved to cook for his family. He looked out for his grandchildren when they got home from school and waited for his dear wife to get home from work. His concern for others and his joy in life will leave a big gap in the hearts of loves who knew him and loved him. He will always live in our hearts. Our Father left us to be with his parents, sister and his adorable daughter, whom he called "chata".
