Ignacio “Zero” Galvan, 78, of Cedar Hill, TX. passed away with his family by his side on June 5, 2023.
Ignacio was born on February 1, 1945 to Gabino Galvan and Lola Rivera in Cameron. TX. Ignacio graduated from Crozier Tech in 1963 and started his family shortly after. His first job was with Emery Worldwide where he worked for 33 years. He was a devoted employee until he retired in 2001. Ignacio had a passion for baseball. He coached and mentored his four sons and their friends for over 20 years. Ignacio was a Christian man. His Christian faith was an essential part of his life. He was a principled man of integrity that came full circle in his beliefs. He was a very loving and caring father, grandfather, brother and friend to those that knew him.
Ignacio was predeceased by his parents Lola and Gabino Galvan.
He is survived by his sons, Ignacio Galvan, Carlos Galvan, Richard Galvan and Michael Galvan. He has 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Gilbert Ybarra, David Galvan and sister Frances Galvan.
