Hortense was raised in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. She had six children and served as a cashier and greeter at Wal-Mart where she worked for more than twenty years.
In her spare time, Hortense enjoyed seeing and spending time with all of her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Jose S. Estrada and Rafael Estrada. She is survived by her daughters, Hortensia Estrada, Elisa Lainez, Cecilia Estrada; son, Ezequiel Estrada Jr.; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
A visitation for Hortense will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247, followed by a Prayer Service from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
