I don’t have as many memories as everyone else but the ones I have are beautiful. Her feisty spirit will forever live on in all of us. Rest well Tia.

Looking back I love that she was always around Frank my self and sammy and or Andrew growing up while we were growing and being crazy. She was always the sweetest and most gentle. Loved her cooking and most of all her buñuelo's. Loved having her in my life during my teen yrs and will definitely miss her. God is embracing a great one!! 

One of my first memories of Tia was visiting her, when I was a child, and being fed a bean and bread sandwich. It was the first time I had ever eaten beans that way and I still remember it 60 years later. Tia , you will be greatly missed. 

Frank & Donna Cristerna and family send prayers and our condolences  to the family. Compadre your mom was a strong woman and she had a BIG heart, that all who met her always felt welcomed and love. Know that she is not in pain and is at peace. God be with you and we love you.

Bill and I truly miss our dear friend and neighbor, Hortencia. She and I would go on frequent walks around the neighborhood until some dogs started escaping from their fenced yards causing a safety risk for us. We also when on short shopping trips to Walmart and Brighter Tomorrows, back when I drove. Years took their toll on her but we continued neighborly visits for years and exchanged small but meaningful gifts during holidays and birthdays. Hortencia would always walk a few houses to ask for Bill's help when needed and Bill was always more than willing to accommodate her. We loved her and her big heart. RIP, Hortencia, you had a full life.
