Helen Fay Jones

Helen Fay Jones, age 98, passed away on September 1, 2023 in Terrell, Texas. She was born on March 25, 1925 in Dallas, Texas to Henry Miller and Gussie Max. Helen was raised in Dallas, and attended Dallas High School.

She later went on to marry Eldreth Lee Jones, and the couple had 2 children. She was a homemaker.

In her spare time, Helen enjoyed exercising, painting figurines, watching Oprah, Rachel Ray, and the Dallas Cowboys.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gussie; her husband E.L.; her sisters, Bessie and Myrtle; and her brother Billy.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon and her husband David Sneed, and Cheryl and her husband William Higgins; her grandchildren, Tracy and wife Cindy Lindsey, Jennifer and husband Owen Albright, Ashley and husband Randall Wake, Kristina and husband Robert Bilberry, and Kerri and husband Michael Sandoval; and her great-grandchildren, Brittany Coppinger, Christopher Lindsey, Jesse Albright, Evie Bilberry, Emerson Bilberry, Emmaline Sandoval, Conri Wake, Gabriella Sandoval, and great-great-grandchild, Adeline Coppinger.

A graveside service for Helen will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
