Age 92, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully departed on Saturday March 5, 2011 in Dallas, Texas in her home at White Rock Court. Proud of her Hungarian ancestry, she was born on June 6,1918, to Gabriel and Mary Kovacs Faber recent immigrants to Akron, Ohio. Helen Esther grew up in Akron and graduated from Business School. She met her future husband, Raleigh, a master tool and die craftsman, and followed him across the country while he worked for the navy as a machinist during WW II. They settled in Dallas in 1947, where from their garage, they started the family business. Davis Metal Stamping continues today as family owned and operated . Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years and infant son George, and sister Elizabeth Edwards. Helen is survived by her four children, Raleigh Jr. ( Sue), James Michael, Lawrence Edwin ( Ana), and Mary Sue Bosworth(Tom). Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Helen will be missed for her quick wit, savvy business sense and her unique cooking skills. Family will receive friends at Sparkman Hillcrest Thursday March 10 beginning at 530pm with recitation of the Rosary at 630pm. Mass of Christian burial at Calvary Hill on Friday March 11 at 10am.
