Helen Frances Bell, 83, was born April 16, 1934 in Greenville, Texas. She passed away at home in Dallas, TX, April 2, 2018. She graduated from high school in Greenville, TX. She loved being a member of the high school drill team, The Flaming Flashes. She attended East Texas State University. Helen Frances Converse married the love of her life, Harold Lindel Bell on November 26, 1952 in Greenville, TX. She was a devoted mother to two children, Sharon & Brad. Helen was employed by DISD for many years as a secretary at J.L. Long Jr. High.
Helen dearly loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. Helen loved creating a beautiful home for her family and planting beautiful flowers to enjoy in her yard. She had exquisite taste. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren celebrating all their proud moments. She never forgot a birthday or special occasion. Helen loved the beauty of a drive around White Rock Lake and loved her precious dog, Baby. She was a devoted daughter to her parents. Our hearts break as we celebrate her life without her but we rest in knowing her great faith in God and that she is eternally in the arms of God.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Lindel Bell; her loving son, Brad Lindel Bell; her parents, Dexter & Sarah Converse & her brother, Bill Converse. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Stubbs & husband Johnny of Bethany, OK; 7 grandchildren, Joshua Stubbs, Crystal Bell Freeland, Natalie Kee, Nicole Bell, Sarah Thompson, Jenna Brooks & Brock Bell; and 14 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 10 am, on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Grove Hill Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. Interment will be immediately following the service at Bethel Cemetery in Greenville, TX. Pallbearers are as follows: Brock Bell, Eddie Freeland, Brad Kee, Justin Lee, Joshua Stubbs, and Dean Converse.
