Heather Shaddock Cook of Dallas, TX, went to be with our Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, August 10, 2014. Heather was born at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX on September 16, 1974. She is survived by her mother, Gail Shaddock Rogers and step-father, Michael Rogers, her brother, Chad Cook and his wife Michelle, their son Keegan, her sister, Kim Cook Jones and her husband Matt, their children Grayson and Lilly, grandmother, Hulda Shaddock, uncles, Carroll Shaddock and his wife Dorry, Peter Shaddock and his wife Phyllis and Bill Shaddock and his wife Kim, along with numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dr. C.B. Shaddock of Orange, TX.
Heather was a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in Anthropology and English Literature and was Vice President-Title Services of Capital Title of Texas. She loved the outdoors, flowers, reading and was a gifted artist and painter. She had a strong Christian faith, which she demonstrated by her great compassion for the poor and the less fortunate. Heather enjoyed spending time with her nephews and niece. She loved her beloved dog, Prince and her three cats. Heather always had a smile on her face. She was a warm, caring and gentle person and an inspiration to everyone. Her incredible hugs will be missed by all that knew her. Heather will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 6411 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, TX 75240 on Friday, August 15, 2014, at 2:00 pm. with a reception following.
