Gordon was born, Harold Gordon Deloach on August 29th, 1937 in Kolin, Louisiana, to Arthur Deloach and Ebbie Carnella Deloach (McCann). Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ebbie, as well as, his son, Steve Deloach and siblings, Arthur, Gene, Richard, Roy, Raymond and Larry Deloach with three remaining living siblings Elliot, Gwen and Loyd.
Gordon graduated from Tioga High School, in Tioga, Louisiana. Following high school, Gordon was set up on a blind date, where he met and became enamored with Diane Wilcox and the red dress she had on that day, in Alexandria, Louisiana, in 1955. Gordon soon enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1957, and was stationed in San Antonio, Texas, spent a short time in California as well before he was called to serve our country in Korea, where he remained until 1960, when he was finally able to follow Diane to Dallas, Texas and marry her, 5 years after they first met.
One year into their marriage brought about the arrival of their first son, Steve Deloach, followed by Mark Delaoch in 1965, and their only daughter, Lisa Deloach Anderson in 1968, who were all born at Methodist Hospital, right here in Dallas.
Gordon particularly enjoyed fishing, gardening, and later in life found he really loved spending his time observing numerous different types of birds and wildlife, and learning more about them. He was also very proud for the work he accomplished at his Texaco Service Stations, of which he owned several, for 40 plus years, gaining a great sense of accomplishment.
He is survived by his wife Diane Deloach (neé Wilcox) of 63 of years. As well as his daughter Lisa, his son, Mark and his two sons, Ashton and Avery Deloach, and two grand kids Conner and Caitlen Deloach from his predeceased son Steve Deloach. Also survived by three great grandchildren Otis, Michael Gordon, and Ryder.

A visitation for Harold will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush, Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX 75093.
