Hailey "Ash" Reid Means

Hailey "Ash" Reid Means, age 24, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on January 20, 1999 in Garland, Texas to John Reid and Bridgette Morris. Hailey was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Naaman Forest High School in 2017. She married Matthew Means on July 2, 2023 and was a receiver at Goodwill in Plano, Texas.

In her spare time Hailey enjoyed singing, playing guitar, writing music and lyrics, performing at Billy Bobs in Ft Worth, Texas., Sweetwater Grill in Royse City Texas and The Venue in Wills Point Texas. Training and grooming dogs and playing games and reading with her son, Leo. She also loved fishing, and spending the holidays with her family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind hearted girl, she always thought of others first. She had the most beautiful ice blue eyes, the voice of an angel, a hysterical sense of humor and was a beautiful person inside and out. The wonderful memories we share with Hailey, her smile, laughter, singing, always wanting to do her best, courage to survive get things done, her beautiful song and writing(s), her young determination will always be remembered.

She is preceded in death, great-grandmother, Nancy I. Fritz; great grandparents Olney and Leola Martin, grandfather, Ronnie Morris and great aunt, Susan McMinn. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Matthew Means; son, Leonardo McManis; father, John Reid and wife, Kara; mother, Bridgette Morris; grandparents, Debra and Dennis Fritz; David and Debra Jones and Marianna Gates; great-grandfather, Ray Fritz; step-sisters, Shyann Hill; half-sisters, Ryver and Izzy Reid; brother Braxton Perrin; aunt, Victoria Zaiger; uncle, Jeremy Fritz and wife, Erica; aunt, Jennifer Waller and husband, Chris; great aunt, Amy Davis & husband, Tom; great uncle, Lloyd McMinn; uncles, Chris Signs and wife, Vivian, Paul Signs and wife, Tara and Kevin McGaughy and wife Sara; cousins, Aivery Zaiger, Blake Zaiger, Brock Fritz, Morgan Fritz, Tripp Waller, Mattie Waller, Alyssa Davis, Kristin, Mason, and Kaylee McGaughy, Jacob , Savannah, and Vincent Signs & Bradley Calder and Natalia Signs, Hudson & Reggie Signs as well as many extended family members and friends.
