Gwendolyn King-Linton

Mrs. Gwendolyn King Linton was born December 30, 1960 in Dallas Texas to the parents of Robert L McGee and Mary Jane Roberts. To this union three children were born Jimmie King Longus, Veronica Lynn King and Gwendolyn King.

During her lifetime, she was employed by Excel, Home Depot, Dillard’s and Presbyterian Hospital where she met many life-long friends. Prior to employment with Presbyterian Hospital, she was a volunteer for the Texas Health Resources Breast Cancer Center and received volunteer of the year Helping Hands award in 2015. Gwendolyn would later accept a job working in the Dallas Sleep Medicine Clinic for Dr. Merrill. Her caring heart, warm smile and praying hands made it possible for cancer patients and survivors to have hope. She touched many hearts in many ways, and put smiles on many faces during her volunteer services.

Mrs. King Linton was a member of Friendship West Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, husband; Sterling Linton, five sons; Jeffery King, Courtney Sanders, Donnell Linton, Sterling Linton ll, Cordarius Linton, three grandchildren; Keewan Williams, Elijah Hampton, Caleb Sanders, four sisters; Linda Surrell-King, Mary (James) Hysaw, Jimmie (Dan)Longus, Veronica King and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles and friends.
