Gregory Charles Bell

Gregory Charles Bell, 55, passed away September 20, 2023. Greg was born on May 7, 1968, to Charles "Russell" and Barbara Bell. He attended MacArthur High School and Texas Tech University. He began working for his father's air conditioning company, Bell Air Conditioning, at age 15. After leaving Texas Tech, he worked alongside his father for more than thirty years. He has five children with Dena Villareal Bell: sons, Austin, and Justin (identical twins), Grayson, daughter, Kathryn, and son, Dylan. Greg loved his children. He taught them his love of sports and coached all his sons in football and baseball. His greatest days were watching his children play softball, soccer, football, and basketball. He loved talking with them about their goals and always told them they could achieve anything they wanted. He was his children’s biggest fan. Greg's love of football spilled over to Austin and Justin. Though he didn't play basketball, he was so proud watching Grayson and Dylan play basketball. He was so excited for Kathryn's writing journey at Carnegie Mellon University and was planning on his first college visit to see her next month. Greg never met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face and had much planned for the future. He was passionate about the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, the outdoors and spending as much time as he could with his children. Greg left this world much too soon. But his legacy on this earth continues through his beloved children.

Greg is survived by his children, Austin Bell, Justin Bell, Grayson Bell, Kathryn Bell, Dylan Bell, and the mother of his children, Dena Bell.

He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Bell, his sister, Robin (Jeff) Yeakel, sister-in-law, Lisa Bell, and his nephews and nieces, Zachary (Ansley) Stringer, Stephanie Bell, Courtney Stringer, and David (Serena) Bell. Greg is preceded in death by his father, Charles Russell Bell; brother, John Bell, and grandparents, Richard and Lillian Schimschat.

Greg's Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 20, 2023, at St. Rita Catholic Church at 12521 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas. Please join us as we celebrate Greg's life on this earth and his welcome into heaven.
