Grady Reeves passed away September 1, 2012. He was born February 22, 1922 in Denton, Texas to Rosa and Grady Hooper Reeves. He is survived by his wife Peggy, nieces Rosemary, Karen, Becky, Patty and nephews Don and Tim. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Bill and sisters Polly and Nancy. Grady grew up in Denton and left to join the Air Force in 1941. He served 22 years in the military; retiring in 1963. He married Peggy Hamilton in June 1952. Upon retiring from the Air Force he spent 23 years in the offices of J.C. Penny. When not caring for their families, Peggy and Grady enjoyed traveling with friends. They were members of the Walnut Hill Church of Christ for 49 years. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home.
