Gonzalo Vieyra Patiño, Jr., age 47, passed away on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 in Richardson, Texas. He was born on October 11th, 1974 in Celaya, Mexico to Gonzalo Hernandez Patiño and Lilia Vieyra Patiño.
Gonzalo was raised in Red Oak, Texas and graduated from The University of Texas in Dallas in 1999.
He married Monica Hernandez Patiño in 2001 and the couple had one daughter. Gonzalo worked as an Electrical Engineer for twenty years with Nortel Networks then Ericsson.
In his spare time, Gonzalo was an avid reader, enjoyed movies, was passionate comic collector and loved all things Batman.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo Hernandez Patiño.
Gonzalo V. Patiño is survived by his wife, Monica and their daughter, Madeline Sophia Patiño; mother, Lilia Vieyra Patiño; sister, Erika V. Patiño; nephew, Julian Diamond Smith; niece, Anissa Almaraz; sister-in-laws, Mary E. Hernandez and Tina M. Hernandez; father-in-law, Rafael Hernandez.
A visitation for Gonzalo will be held on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. The rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
The Funeral Service and Celebration of Life for Gonzalo will be held on Friday, March 25th, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Hill North Chapel.
Entombment will follow at the St. John Mausoleum at 12 p.m.
