Gloria (Glo) Saldana Ortiz

Gloria was born in Sequin, Texas on December 26, 1952, to Antonio & Eliza Saldana.

Gloria was married to George on March 28, 1994, they were married 30 years and together 42 years total.

Gloria worked as a Hair Stylist with her longtime friend Doris Luna for 20 Years. She enjoyed Gardening.

Gloria is preceded in death by her son Johnny Ray Martinez, parents Antonio Saldana Sr. and Eliza Lozano Saldana, sister Lucy Hernandez and brother Antonio Saldana Jr.

Gloria is survived by her husband George Ortiz; children Irene & Phillip Cabrera, Theresa & Raphael Ayala, Mellisa & Robert Gomez, Stephanie & Johnny Harris and Greg & Jamie Ortiz; daughter-in-law Candy Wilder; grandchildren Joel Cabrera, Kristi Perez, Robert Rojas, Devone Ayala, Anthony Martinez, Andrea Martinez, Kearstine Ayala, Krystal Ayala, Skyler Ayala, Shealyn Wamsley, Kaye Collins, Christopher Collins, Katherine Harris, Michael Harris, John Harris; 22 great grandchildren; one brother, seven sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Hill Main Mausoleum North Chapel. A committal will follow Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
